SHIN KO DOJO name was inspired in a Pascal Krieger Sensei calligraphy of Kokoro wo tagayasu (shin ko). Actually it is developed two activities, Shorinji Kempo teached by Juan Luis Escot and Shinto Muso Ryu Jodo directed by sensei Vicente Borondo, SMR Jodo Shomokuroku.

Doshin So (1911-1980), founded Shorinji Kempo in 1947 under his thinking: "Hito, hito, hito, subetewa hitono shitsuni aru", The person, every thing depend on the quality of the persons. He thought that the persons who has the qualities of merced, justice and y valor are responsible to help others and make a better world.

About Shimizu Takaji (1896-1978), Shihan y 25º Head Master of Shinto Muso Ryu Jodo had a dream, about his foreight students returning to their home land and teaching Jodo to others, . Later, all over the world, people would follow the way of the stick. And various groups from different countries would get in touch and Jodo would help to keep on the path of Peace and Goodwill.
